Established in 1948, it is a national trade organization representing over 3,000 members in sectors including semiconductors, telecommunications, IT, green energy, and power equipment. TEEMA is dedicated to promoting industrial development, policy advocacy, and international collaboration, serving as a key bridge between the industry and government. In 2018, it initiated the Taiwan Energy Storage Industry Promotion Alliance to bring together stakeholders from industry, academia, and research institutions. It aims to promote policy advocacy, standards development, demonstration projects, and international cooperation to accelerate the development and technological innovation of Taiwan’s energy storage industry. Since 2024, the Alliance partners with Green Impact Academy to bring synergies.
